Great Family Wedding in Beckington (near Frome)

Great Family Wedding in Beckington (near Frome)

Not that we normally travel to Beckington near Frome, but this was an exception.

We travelled to collect bridesmaids and bride and father of the bride from their home within the village and transport them to St. George’s church around five minutes away.  There were rather a lot of bridesmaids and guests at the house and so the family ‘farm trailer’ was reassigned for the day with benches and flowers to accommodate the extra people and it looked like lots of fun and full of laughter!

Following the ceremony and photographs at the church, we travelled an extended route together with their photographer, Sam Gibson Photography, where Sam kindly took an amazing photo on my mobile of Melissa & Will enjoying the attention in the wedding car, thanks Sam!

A huge marquee was set up back at the Beckington farm and the car was required to drive across a field to a stunning tree which was to be used for one of the main photos of the day.

Thereafter, the groom decided the best way for the bride to get to the marquee was over his shoulder!

Congrats to a really great couple!

Wedding at Tracy Park in Wick

Wedding at Tracy Park in Wick

Our car was reserved by the groom’s parents as a surprise for Shir-Chi and Richard’s wedding on 15 September and I am so glad to report that they were not disappointed!

We collected the bride and her parents from this beautiful jacobean manor house and took them for a local tour and then arrived back at the venue for the ceremony.

After they were married, Shir-Chi and Richard enjoyed a tour to enable them to have some ‘quiet time’ together and we then returned for photographs and greetings from their guests, and finally departed this beautiful Tracy Park wedding.

2018 Weddings – First wedding of the year on Friday, 12 January

2018 Weddings – First wedding of the year on Friday, 12 January

Lauren & James wedding sign

What a great wedding and such a lovely way to kick start the new year with our very first wedding of 2018!

Lauren and James were such a great couple who really ‘loved’ our wedding car and were able to enjoy a brief trip with the hood down after the ceremony, even on a crisp January day!

It was a local collection for us in Keynsham and we then travelled with both parents and Lauren to St. Mary’s Church in Saltford for the ceremony.

Following the service and photographs here, we travelled (with the hood down) to Saltford river around the corner for some ‘private’ photos with their friend and wedding photographer Suzie from Suzanne Mary Photography.

Due to it now getting rather cold, we travelled with the hood up and heater on to our final destination which was the gorgeous Homewood Park where they enjoyed their wedding reception and overnight stay.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs A and it was really lovely to be a part of your special day.
