Having met Hannah when she was around nine years old, it was lovely to be chosen to transport her to her wedding, and on Bank Holiday Monday, 29 August 2016, I collected her and her father and travelled to the Salvation Army church in Staple Hill where she married Nicholas.
It was a gloriously warm sunny day (unusual weather for a bank holiday!) and they chose to leave in style from the church with the hood down, stopping off a little later to put the hood back up and then continued our journey to a Blagdon stop-off for the couple to enjoy some ‘private’ photos with their photographer Stuart Whale. We then drove a short way onto their wedding reception at Coombe Lodge, a fab venue and we’re a regular visitor here as we are a preferred supplier.
Most of the guests had already arrived and so Hannah and Nicholas were greeted as we pulled up with the hood just having been taken down and they enjoyed further photographs in the grounds, before we departed.
Such a great wedding, with photos kindly forwarded to me by Hannah from her photographer.
Lovely to meet the bridal party after their reservation in 2014 at the Mercure Grange Wedding Fayre and Englands Finest Wedding Cars were delighted to be involved as wedding cars bristol for the first wedding in our diary for 2016.
Fortunately, they chose a great day to get married and we collected the bridesmaids and then returned for the bride and her father from Easton in Gordano andtravelled to St. Bartholomews church in Lower Failand, one of only a few weddings held each year at this pretty village church.
We continued our journey with Hannah and Thomas to Coombe Lodge in Blagdon, where we are a regular visitor as we have been a preferred supplier for many years.
Always receiving a warm welcome at this beautiful venue and with photographs by the fab Eleanor from Interlace Photography we were sure to have a great day.
We have been a preferred supplier at this venue for many years and it is always a pleasure to attend weddings here.
